Made from locally-sourced hand turned barley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, this smooth whisky has been aged in a single Bourbon cask before being cut with pure Dartmoor spring water. 70cl, 46% ABV This is what Master Distiller, Frank McHardy, had to say about the Ex-Bourbon cask whisky:
“Here the spirit has taken on typical golden colour from the Bourbon cask. On the nose there are vanilla aromas as you would expect from a bourbon cask. There are toffee notes on the pallet, crème brule and marsh mallow. It’s very sweet to the taste, almost honeyed.”
